What Is Dekton?
Dekton is an ultra-compact surface created through a process called TSP (Technology of Sintered Particles). Raw materials — including glass, porcelain, and quartz — are subjected to extreme heat and pressure to create a surface that’s extraordinarily dense and durable. Dekton was originally developed for exterior cladding and high-traffic commercial applications, but its performance characteristics have made it increasingly popular for residential countertops.

Is Silestone the same as regular quartz?
Silestone is Cosentino’s branded engineered surface. Current Silestone uses Cosentino’s HybriQ+ technology with reduced crystalline silica (a maximum of 40%, and under 10% for Silestone XM) and is backed by Cosentino’s own warranty and quality standards. Not all quartz is Silestone.
